Purpose
As stated in the Constitution and By-laws, the purpose of the Mt. Vernon Band Boosters shall be to support and promote the bands of Mt. Vernon I.S.D. Our goal is to stimulate and sustain interest among both parents and students in school band work by cooperating with the school authorities and band directors. The band boosters will help to raise funds to finance the bands and assist students' needs not provided for by the school district, including but not limited to scholarships, lessons, and student trips. The band boosters furnish chaperones when necessary.
