Daily grades are 60% of the student's average. Daily grades consist of class work necessary to practice new and previously learned concepts. Since more time and effort is put into projects they could also be weighed as a daily grade and a test grade simply because daily grades weigh more. *Sudents will always be informed as to how much a project is being weighed.

Exams and Quizes are 40% of the student's average. These are periodic checks for understanding which could be open book and/or open notes.
