Welcome back. I hope everyone had a great holiday. We are entering into a busy and important time of the school year. TAKS testing is right around the corner and this year the test takes on a different meaning for our eighth grade students. It is the goal of Mt. Vernon Jr. High that 100% of our students master all sections of the TAKS test. With the school and home working together I know all our students will be successful. I encourage every parent to get involved in your child's education.
