My name is David Stickels. I graduated from Texas Tech University in 1988 and I received my master from Sul Ross State University in 1991.

As assistant principal my job is very rewarding. I enjoy watching our students and teachers grow. I have enjoyed working in Mount Vernon School District. Our goal is to help every student become successful in their educational experience. The most important piece of the puzzle for high school staff is preparing the students for success in school as well as success in life.
